Yes, this is 100% mulberry silk — 12 momme silk charmeuse, finished with a narrow rolled hem.

Five botanicals, each one drawn rather than photographed, and each with a different border doing the work of framing it.

Periwinkle carries cream camellia blooms on a ground washed with olive and gold, closed in by a sky blue border. Misty blue is sprays of lily of the valley and dandelion clocks in white line work inside a dusty rose band. Dusty mauve scatters purple blue irises with yellow markings across a panel framed in wide white. Cerulean fills with white almond blossom opening on brown branches, edged in solid navy. Ivory is printed with purple thistles, blue cornflowers and orange blooms, with dragonflies and bees worked in between and a sage green stripe frame.

They are meant to be collected rather than chosen between — five squares that all read as flowers from across a room and as five different drawings up close.

At approximately 21 x 21 in. it knots at the collar, folds down into a headband, wraps twice around hair, or ties to a bag handle so a plain tote reads finished.
