Yes, this is 100% mulberry silk — 12 momme silk charmeuse, finished with a narrow rolled hem.

Three squares that are pictures rather than patterns. Each one has something going on in it, which is why they get noticed and asked about.

The pale blue is drawn as a numbered chain reaction: a big spoked wheel, a copper tea urn, balloons, a rabbit and a prancing horse linked step by step inside a navy border. The pale aqua is a flat graphic portrait of a woman in a yellow and orange hat and a yellow knit, set among oversized white blossoms and framed by black. The third is a painted landscape — green islands, blue water and a town with hot air balloons rising over it, a block of orange carrying white plum blossom on one side, closed by a narrow navy edge.
