Yes, this is 100% mulberry silk — 12 momme silk charmeuse, finished with a narrow rolled hem.

Three ways to wear paisley, and they are not interchangeable. The cream one is drawn in fine taupe and apricot with a plain pale grey band around all four sides — the quiet one, the one that goes under a printed shirt without arguing with it. The navy is packed with cream and pale blue teardrops and framed by a wide band of solid rust that wraps the corners, so a knot at the throat shows two tones at once. The black is laid out the way a bandana is: a plain centre field of small white crosses and teardrops, ringed by a broad paisley band and a daisy edged border.

Paisley is the pattern that survives every swing in fashion because it never fully belongs to one decade. On a square this size it reads as a detail rather than a statement.
