The Stonewash Crescent Sling is a 100% cotton canvas crescent bag — the croissant, dumpling, half-moon shape — finished with a heavy garment wash so it arrives already faded and softened, the way a good pair of jeans looks after a few summers. The body is pieced from a dozen curved panels rather than cut from one flat piece, which is what gives the crescent its shape and the seams their fan of topstitching.

• 100% COTTON CANVAS, HEAVILY WASHED No blends and no coating — just cotton canvas put through a heavy stonewash. Because the fading is done in the wash rather than printed on, no two bags come out identical, and the colour will keep softening with wear.

• CRESCENT SHAPE THAT SITS FLAT The curved body follows your side or your chest instead of swinging away from it, so it stays put on a crowded train and it is easy to swing round to the front when you need something out of it.

• ZIP TOP, ONE INNER POCKET The main opening closes with a full-length zip. Inside there is one open slip pocket for a phone or a card case, and room for a wallet, keys, sunglasses and a paperback.

• WIDE WOVEN STRAP A jacquard-woven cotton strap, knotted through a fabric loop at each end. It is a fixed length, cut for a high, close fit — on the shoulder, across the body, or worn at the chest for travel days when you want your hands free.

• SIZE Measures approximately 15.7" across the opening x 7.1" tall, with an 11.8" strap drop. Small enough to read as an accessory, big enough for a day out.

Care. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, or hand wash cold. Wash darks and lights separately — with a wash this heavy the first few washes can release a little colour. Do not tumble dry; air dry in the shade.
